Role Overview:
- We are seeking a hands-on Data Analyst with strong Power BI expertise to transform raw data into clear, actionable insights. You will design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets while configuring embedded capacities for scalable, secure analytics experiences. The role combines technical BI development with analytical storytelling to support business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports aligned with business needs.
- Configure and optimize Power BI embedded capacity, including workspace organization, performance tuning, and governance.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into robust data models and reporting solutions.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate data.
- Build relational data models (star/snowflake schemas, fact/dimension tables) for scalable reporting.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
- Ensure data quality and consistency through validation and reconciliation.
- Document data sources, metrics definitions, report logic, and processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Finance, Operations, Technology) to drive data-informed decisions.
- Stay updated on Power BI features and best practices.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst specializing in advanced Power BI development.
- Strong expertise in DAX, complex dashboards, paginated reports, and reusable datasets.
- Experience with Power BI embedded capacity, row-level security, and app workspaces.
- Intermediate SQL proficiency: joins, subqueries, CTEs, aggregations, window functions.
- Solid understanding of relational database concepts and data modeling.
- Proven experience translating business questions into actionable data insights.
- Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and effective communication skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Qlik Sense or Tableau dashboards.
- Exposure to Azure data services (SQL Database, Synapse, Data Factory) or similar cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).
- Agile environment experience.
- Databricks and Salesforce Administration exposure.
